Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει ήταν αληθινοί. Πάντα ήταν ο εαυτός τους. Είχαν μια βαθιά επίγνωση του ποιοι είναι. Δεν είχαν ανάγκη να αποδείξουν τίποτα σε κανέναν. Ήταν γνήσιοι και αυθεντικοί. Άφηναν όλους τους άλλους να ανακαλύψουν το πραγματικό τους μεγαλείο, χωρίς να κρύψουν τίποτα. Ποτέ δεν είχαν προσποιηθεί. Άλλωστε, δεν είχαν λόγο να το κάνουν, αφού ήταν οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που είχαν υπάρξει.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει πάντα ακτινοβολούσαν. Εγώ θα τους έλεγα «αυτόφωτους». Χαρακτηρίζονταν από μια μοναδική λάμψη που κέντριζε την προσοχή σου και σε τραβούσε κοντά τους σαν μαγνήτης. Και έλαμπαν με αυτό τον τρόπο, γιατί η ομορφιά της ψυχής τους ήταν τόσο έντονη που δεν μπορούσε παρά να εξωτερικευθεί και στην όψη τους. Ο ίδιος ο ήλιος κατοικούσε μέσα τους. Αυτοί ήταν και οι πιο όμορφοι άνθρωποι που είχα γνωρίσει. Και η ομορφιά τους αυτή ήταν ανεπανάληπτη. Δεν ήταν μια συνηθισμένη ομορφιά. Μάλιστα, συνέβαινε το εξής παράξενο: καθώς περνούσαν τα χρόνια, τα όμορφα χαρακτηριστικά τους δε ξεθώριαζαν, αλλά αντιθέτως, αυτοί γίνονταν όλο και πιο όμορφοι.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει είχαν τα πιο όμορφα μάτια που θα μπορούσε να αντικρίσει κάποιος στη ζωή του. Μάτια που χαμογελούσαν, όπως χαμογελούσε και η ψυχή τους. Πάντα καθαρά και κρυστάλλινα. Γυάλιζαν σαν μικρά διαμάντια. Σε κέρδιζαν με το πρώτο βλέμμα. Κοιτούσες μέσα στα μάτια αυτών των ανθρώπων και μπορούσες να δεις όλο το παρελθόν τους. Κυρίως, όμως, μπορούσες να βουτήξεις μέσα στην ψυχή τους και να δεις αυτά που οι ίδιοι κρατούσαν κρυφά. Αυτά τα μάτια ήταν το πιο όμορφο χαρακτηριστικό πάνω τους.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει αγαπούσαν όλο τον κόσμο. Και οι περισσότεροι, με τη σειρά τους, τους αγαπούσαν. Λάτρευαν το συνάνθρωπο. Ζούσαν γι’ αυτόν. Και η αγάπη τους αυτή ήταν ειλικρινής και ανιδιοτελής. Δεν είχαν εχθρούς. Έτσι νόμιζαν τουλάχιστον. Ακόμα και αυτοί που τους ζήλευαν δεν είχαν να τους προσάψουν κάτι κακό, γιατί απλώς ήταν οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που υπήρχαν.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει βοηθούσαν όλο τον κόσμο. Και ήταν οι πιο καλοί άνθρωποι που υπήρχαν, όχι μόνο γιατί ήταν πάντα δίπλα σε όσους ζητούσαν τη βοήθειά τους, αλλά γιατί παρείχαν χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη τον ίδιο τους τον εαυτό σε όσους τους χρειάζονταν, χωρίς καν να τους το ζητήσουν. Γύρευαν τον αδύναμο, τον πεινασμένο, τον ταλαιπωρημένο κυρίως όταν δεν τους έβλεπε κάποιος. Ό, τι έκαναν προσπαθούσαν να το κάνουν κρυφά, γιατί δεν τους ενδιέφερε η επιβράβευση των ανθρώπων. Δεν το έκαναν γιατί περίμεναν αντάλλαγμα. Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει δεν πήραν ποτέ πίσω όσα έδωσαν. Δεν ήταν αυτό το μέλημά τους. Το έκαναν, γιατί έτσι ήθελαν. Το έκαναν, γιατί αυτό ήταν η ζωή τους. Το έκαναν, γιατί αγαπούσαν τον άλλο, όποιος κι αν ήταν αυτός. Το έκαναν, γιατί μπορούσαν έστω και για λίγο να μπουν στη θέση του και να καταλάβουν πόσο δύσκολη ήταν. Το έκαναν, για να απαλύνουν παροδικά τον πόνο τους. Έδιναν, λοιπόν, απ’ το υστέρημά τους και όχι γιατί τους περίσσευαν. Βαθιά μέσα τους, όμως, ήξεραν πως αν βοηθούσαν μια φορά, οφειλέτης τους θα ήταν ο ίδιος ο Θεός. Και πάντα επαληθεύονταν. Άνοιγαν τα ουράνια και τους δίνονταν απλόχερα εκατό φορές περισσότερα. Και αυτοί, από την αγάπη τους αλλά και από την ευγνωμοσύνη τους, συνέχιζαν το κρυφό τους έργο. Και γίνονταν κάθε φορά όλο και πιο πλούσιοι. Ο πλούτος τους, όμως, δεν ήταν άμεσα ορατός, γιατί βρισκόταν στην ίδια τους την ψυχή. Και ήξεραν πως, συγκριτικά με τα επίγεια αγαθά, αυτός ο πλούτος ήταν πολύ πιο σημαντικός. Βέβαια, η μεγαλύτερη ανταμοιβή γι’ αυτούς ήταν το «ευχαριστώ» που έκρυβε το βλέμμα όσων βοηθούσαν. Αυτή ήταν η μοναδική στιγμή που στα μάτια των ανθρώπων αντίκριζαν τον ίδιο το Θεό.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει απολάμβαναν κάθε δευτερόλεπτο της ζωής τους. Ζούσαν έντονα την κάθε στιγμή και γι’ αυτούς κάθε μέρα ήταν ένα θαύμα, μια γιορτή. Προσπαθούσαν να βλέπουν το καλό σε οποιαδήποτε εμπειρία της ζωής τους. Τίποτα δεν τάραζε τη ζωή τους˙ ακόμα κι αν εμφανιζόταν κάτι κακό. Ήξεραν πως μετά από τη βροχή ακολουθεί το ουράνιο τόξο˙ μετά από το χειμώνα έρχεται η άνοιξη. Ήξεραν πως το πιο όμορφο φως είναι μετά από το πιο βαθύ σκοτάδι.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει πάντα χαμογελούσαν. Και όταν χαμογελούσαν, χαμογελούσε και όλη η πλάση μαζί τους. Το πιο σημαντικό, όμως, ξέρετε ποιο είναι; Ότι αυτό το χαμόγελο έβγαινε μέσα από την ψυχή τους. Αυτό ήταν και το πιο αγνό και ειλικρινές δώρο που θα μπορούσαν να σου προσφέρουν για να σου φτιάξουν τη μέρα.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει δεν έκρυβαν τα συναισθήματά τους. Ήταν χαρούμενοι και το έδειχναν. Αν και σχεδόν πάντα φαίνονταν χαρούμενοι. Υπέφεραν. Υπέφεραν με τον πόνο του άλλου, σαν να ήταν οι ίδιοι που πονούσαν. Πληγώνονταν από ανθρώπους και καταστάσεις. Πληγώνονταν πολύ. Παρόλ’ αυτά, όλους τους αγαπούσαν. Αυτό τους έκανε και τους πιο ωραίους ανθρώπους. Έκλαιγαν. Και έκλαιγαν πιο συχνά απ’ όσο ο κόσμος νόμιζε. Άνθρωποι ήταν κι αυτοί. Το γεγονός ότι ήταν τόσο ωραίοι δεν τους έκανε υπεράνθρωπους. Όταν έκλαιγαν, όμως, έκλαιγαν μόνοι. Δεν ήθελαν να κάνουν κάποιον δυστυχισμένο εξαιτίας τους. Μόνο χαρά ήθελαν να προσφέρουν.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει ήταν ευγενικοί και γλυκομίλητοι. Είχαν πάντα έναν καλό λόγο για όλους. Δεν προσέβαλλαν κανέναν. Γιατί σέβονταν αυτόν που στεκόταν απέναντί τους, αφού πίστευαν ότι είχαν να κερδίσουν κάτι από όλους τους ανθρώπους.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι που έχω γνωρίσει δεν είχαν πολλά, αλλά ήταν βασιλιάδες. Απ’ το τίποτα έφτιαχναν τα πάντα. Τους έλειπαν χίλια δυο πράγματα αλλά δεν παραπονέθηκαν ποτέ. Αντιθέτως, πάντα δοξολογούσαν το Θεό για όσα τους προσέφερε. Έμαθαν να αγωνίζονται, να παλεύουν και ποτέ να μην το βάζουν κάτω κάθε φορά που ήθελαν να καταφέρουν κάτι.

Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι υπάρχουν δίπλα μας και οφείλουμε να τους αναζητήσουμε. Οι πιο ωραίοι άνθρωποι είναι αυτοί που επαναφέρουν την πίστη μου στον ίδιο τον άνθρωπο και με κάνουν να ελπίζω για ένα καλύτερο αύριο.

 Having  a small  child in the   house...playing along  with  him  all  day  long(it may  be  some  hours)gives  you access  in  fun  toys ..remembering   your own  childhood

 when  i  was  a  child  this  game     was  a  must buy    for me in  every festival  i   could   empty  it  in  a day..
cause i am  clumsy  i   used  to spill it  in  an   hour  but..with just  water and  soap   ...voila ...

prasonisi rodos

Prasonisi is the Greek word for "green island".

 During summer time, and when water levels are low  this island is a peninsula attached to Rhodes. During the winter time, and when water levels are high enough,it  becomes an island.

The southernmost tip of it contains a  beautiful lighthouse.
 The closest rodian village is  Kattavia  if you are  planning a  visit!

 Prasonisi is noted to be a good place for windsurfing and kitesurfing due to predictable and reliable winds with certain qualities (not gusty, constant direction and during particular times of the day). From one side of the cape there is the Aegean sea with good waves and views for advanced surfers. From the other side, there is the Mediteranian sea with flat water which is better suited for beginners. The area has its high season for tourists in July and August and the flat side of the water becomes very busy.

 The protected turtle known as caretta carettaused to hide its eggs at the specific region but this rarely happens anymore due to the lack of environmental management of the territory

 there is a purpose-built settlement on Prasonisi that contains motels, convenience stores, restaurants, and windsurf rentals which are open seasonally

Apollakia beach

   when  you leave in  a  very popular place, it has   its ups and downs.. you ll  see  people  even in the most deserted areas! trying to explore  the  wild  side of the  island  here  is  a place not  even  so many  locals  know..
   

 this   beach is massive but   if its windy   the   waves are  huge  really scary  but  worth the risk

 near  by   there  is the biggest  lake  in the  island ..you  ll be able  to see the Apollakia's dam  also

 the dam  its  full during winter  time   from rain  water and in  summer  time the level  goes   down

 what  you  see  here  in the background  its not  a  boat  its  an island 

Attaviros mountain

 this    is  how  the rest of the    world look  from up  here...where  i  am?  i  am  in the  highest ground in  Rodos..This  is the mountain Attaviros . the mountain is 1240m  high..its  a  lot  for a small  island like  Rodos

 over   here    you   will  find ancient parts from a Zeus  temple.. which  blands in so perfectly  with the  sinery and  guess  what no  tourist  ever    comes   here

  you  all  know  that  the  symbol of  rodos  is a dear

  its  the only   place  were   for  sure   you  ll   see one living   free
 always  near the water in  summer  time..

suma ..pure greek alcohol

 yesterday   was   a  great  day  off  and  i  wanna   share  it    ...
In   greece   there  is  a  drink  called  suma which is  similar  to  ouzo but its more  pure  its made  mostly  from  grapes  but  other  fruits can be used  like figs ..

 its  really  simple to  make  your   own  but  you ll need   machinery  which  you  can  rent  if   you really   want  to  have  your  own..

  september here in   rodos  they  collect  the grapes  .. it  can   be  done   earlier  or  at the   end  of the  month..if it  rains  once ( its not so  often in rodos  during the summer)
it  will  be  a  great   gathering... Once the  grapes are   selected   they  put  them  in barels  and mixed  them  up  for 12  -15  days
the prositure  starts now  in octomber  were on  by  one the barrels  are opened  the grapes  are  hited and  then  what its   collected is   alcohol  vol 60- 40  its   really  high  so   the  usually   mixed  it   until  its  42 vol

  this    is   done   without  any prosthetics and  the  result its amazing

you  can  drink  a  lot  ...but  quess    what  you  ll never  get  a  headache ...
if  you   are    planning to  visit   rodos    go  to Empona    or  Siana   there is  where the magic is done!
